Constructed entirely from seed beads and string, these rings are flexible and mould comfortably to the shape of the wearer. A bright selection of colours hints at a tropical paradise.

An amulet is an object often wore close to the chest, the heart, to protect the wearer. Also often used to hold precious items, keeping them close.

In this modern age our precious items are increasing taking on a more digital form, this work represents this idea, in creating a precious case for this small device of plastic and metal, but which carries so much more value to the person whose memories and information is kept on it.

This range of cocktails rings was created as part of a series exploring geometric shapes combined with woven thread.

Uses geometric forms, overlapping thread in patterns, reminiscent of works created during my childhood with nails and thread on a wooden block.
